Cold As

Well we spent last night (Thurs) ar Gin Gin Showground - great spot, but man oh man was it chilly (understatement). After my shower made the decision to throw on my flanny pj's, got called a 'girl' and a woose, and then I added my hot pink bed socks to my attire. Now, the Lord & Master could only find his flanny jarmy bottom, nup didn't want that, so part the way through the night, got up, looked in the top cupboard and found said top. Still cold (had a polar fleece blanket and doona on the bed, but I ended up getting up and throwing our knee rugs over the bed. L&M then had the hide to cuddle up to me and said 'let me cuddke up and make you warm'! I was already as warm as toast! But the best was to come - then it was s-n-o-r-e time!!! Guess who was the one that did not get a real lot of sleep last night.

PS, woke up to 6 deg inside the van this morning and ice on the windscreen and frost on the ground.

PS 2, what a difference a day makes, due to be 16 o/nt tonight at Emu Park - heat wave!!

I grew up in Tasmania and you knew it was cold when the dogs started to stick to trees

hi, did not know it got that cold in Gin Gin.  Was there last week end travelling down to Brisbane. At about7am we had to stop because our little grand daughter was car sick and vomited. Oh. the fun. Had a rest stop and Went and bought breakfast at the hot bread shop which was yummy. Thank goodness that settled her tummy and on to Brisbane. could not sit at the tables or sit on a swing it was all wet so I guess it was similar night to what you just had.

Do you have a heater?

Cheers. Rocket n Strop

Oh yeah, it has been going flat out! Though last night we were throwing the doona off at Emu Park. From Marlborough up to Mackay we have been buffeted by strong winds, quite often they have tried to throw us off the road, but Pete just slows down to keep everything under control. Hope Tsv will be better tomorrow.
