Jim.......the problem is trying to brush off all the flies as they keep landing back on the kill or all over your face and I always find the odd maggot when cooking - no matter how carefully I look first......and maggots have a distinctive taste that spoils the kill

Hi Bruce,

I agree with what you say,If the body is sill warm, NOT by the sun. Then go for it. But those little red meat ants. they taste b...loo...dy  awful  when cooked, if you miss one or two.

But my favourite is, Pot roast Possum with carrots and chat potato's.

I tried a curried Crow once. I Don't reconmmend you try it.
