i have 500 swift cooker.ignition switch failed.purchased a switch which needs fitting from rear of front panel due to non genuine.does anyone know how to remove front panel which forms entire stove top?
Our Swift 500 had a problem when we took delivery, it had the wrong griller burner fitted somehow by mistake and would get way too hot, it even melted the knobs while trying to do some toast !
We called back to our 5'er manufacturer to get it sorted and they called the Swift technician to come and fix it.
He had to drill out rivets to remove the top to get to the burner, so would assume a similar exercise to replace the piezo.
I found the Swift people good to deal with, but then again ours was a warranty thing and dangerous to boot.
