we are overnight at a property called Simply Green Tomatoes which is 14k from Boort in Victoria. They are farmers diversifying into different forms of farming and they also produce Woolen Quilts and products. They do not charge for you to camp here and it is a lovely set up , you would need to be self contained but definitely worth a visit and their products are very nice. Boort itself is a nice town , cafe had good home cooked food. There is also the Spanner Man not far from here which we are visiting tomorrow, look him up on line looks amazing what he has done. So put this place on your to do list and the people who run it are lovely. . I think I saw it written up on this forum before that is how I found it.
A very enterprising family that also own Holloway House & Banyandah Retreat B&B boutique accommodation in town. We've stayed at Banyandah a number of times, it's lovely. Great to see them expanding into the Grey Nomad market. Boort is a lovely town in a central location to explore up to the Murray River & down to the Goldfields around Wedderburn. Local wine & olive oil are tasty too.

Saw the Spanner Man $10/pp and definitely worth it, amazing sculptures. He doesnt advertise at all so it's only through word of mouth that you find him.
