May be too late now, I just saw your post. There is a caravan park in Watson on the north side or very close to it you can use the showground we've not stayed at the showground but it has a lot of good reports. Slightly further north there is 2 caravan parks at Eagle Hawk. Other than those you would be out on the south side at Fyshwick, mostly permanents there or at Queanbeyan. Hope this helps.
