I groomed dogs for 15 years and believe me if they don't like the cut they sulk. This was normally dogs who were groomed in unusual ways requested by the owner, like a Pembroke corgi who did have to be clipped short in the summer otherwise he spent most of the day in the dam and ended up with skin problems.
