When we bought our second hand Jayco Sterling the sides, back and roof were fine but the front was and still is very dull and powdery. I used a Boatcare Fibreglass Polish (Extra Cut) Septone. I didn't use it on the remainder of van as it didn't need it -just a good polish on the rest. But the front has again deteriorated. What am I doing wrong.
I use Nu Finish polish on the van, does an excellent job of protecting the exterior. Our van is aluminium but I have used it on a fibreglass boat in the past, again it was successfull for me. Maybe try the cut polish first then the Nu Finish after ???

I have had similar problem and tried several Fibreglass cut and Polishes without a lot of success, Last week I took my van to a Caravan repair centre at the request of Jayco as I had discussed the problem with them and was told that the Fibreglass had been damaged by the sun and no amount of polish would bring it back to a lasting shine the guy at the repair centre is sending a formal report to Jayco so I will post the outcome once known.

You are basically doing the right thing, problem is the FG has degraded due to UV from our harsh sun. The only thing now is to keep it protected with a good quality fibreglass wax polish or one of the new breed polishes like the one mentioned, Nu Finish, which is recommended for fibreglass.
Most waxes will break down after a few months or so and need a re application, tedious but really the only way.
Never use car type polishes as some can contain ammonia and this will degrade the finish even more in the long term and can cause yellowing.
Once the 'polymers' have broken down due to UV exposure the shine will never come back. solution = sand down with 320 grit paper and apply single or two pack polyurethane by spray
method, this will give you 5 - 10 years protection and shine, also good for resale, cheers Peter
Try having a look at a product made by Xtroll. The have a fiberglass restorer that seems as though it should solve your problem.
My van was very badly stained. Cleaned and then used bleach to remove the staining then coated with the Xtroll. It does have a slight brown or grey shading to it that tends to make the very white items go a little darker (looks more like antique white) but makes the colors much brighter. Also brings back the shine. I have yet to put a second coat on but will do so in the next few days.
