Nice place to be at the moment, sucks over on the coast wet and very windy. We would love to be back at Ponto Falls near Wellington.

Maybe it is me, but I can not really understand anything that you guys are talking about. How about a little more info so we can get on the same page as you guys.
Maybe it is me, like I said.

Ponto Falls. The turn off for Ponto Falls is 9klms west of Wellington NSW on the Mitchell Hwy(Dubbo Road)turn left, or right turn if coming from Dubbo, then another 8klms to campsite, it has a drop toilet and plenty of room for big rigs and lots of vans, River has a very rocky bottom so good for walking and swimming or just sitting in to cool off. You can camp right down on the river bed.

We are at present resting in Canowindra and was thinking on those lines of spending a night there on our way to Gilgandra.

Ponto Falls sounds a good idea.
