Stayed at Cowra Showgrounds $20 a night handy location close to town lots of room old but clean amenities ,Friendly caretaker who live on site , they are working on improving the site would stay again
Give you an update.....excellent facilities, cleaned daily, plenty of hot water with nice roomy showers & toilets......all sites are level, grassed with plenty of power outlets & water taps......$20 per night, quiet, normal TV & communications and a pleasant walk to town over the Murrumbidgee River if that floats your boat.
We didn`t try any of the service clubs but there are plenty available but would highly recommend the Café beside McDonalds & Tourist Centre.....there is also an excellent Coffee shop known as "Ruza" down a shopping mall near Coles.....so after 4 days here it`s time to move on tomorrow.
