If you have a 2014 Colorado twin cab ltz like I do it would be a good idea to check the bushes on the rear springs . I just had mine replaced because thay were split and falling apart .10 months old 27000 km ..Great ..
As you know Brian I have the same model only the LT.
About 5 weeks ago I had an extra leaf put both sides rear springs, made a big positive difference. I got the job done by Pedders and nothing said about Bushes so all must have been OK. 20,000 km.
Hope all is well with you both. I'm just about to start heading to Townsville via the coast in the next couple of days weather permitting.

We had issues on Ford Utes along with Rodeo, Tritan, Toyota .,
Wearing out rear bushes.. It was the weight we carried on the rear.
Elect wire drums to put wire off for service wires to house..
When we used Alu wire the weight was reduced..
Never had issues with alum wire ...
