Dometic toilet

Hi Campers, we have a new van and have been out in it twice.  So the toilet cassette has only been emptied twice...  Both times on replacing the cassette, the

toilet 'flush' will not work...  First time it was looked at by the factory guys,  they said two wires has come adrift...  But it has happened again...  Anyone else had

this problem?  Thanks,   Jay-Jay

Hi Jay-Jay
Take the cassette out you should be able to see the wires, sounds like the cassette is hitting them on the side and pulling them apart
you may be able to put a cable tie on them to stop it.
Take Care
Rod

our new van had wires hanging down over the cassette area. The wires were mainly for things like the taillights etc. If you squat down and look in level with the hole, you will see if it is wiring or not. If it is, why should you fix it - just poor workmanship - I got the Dealer to fix it and it was done to good trades level this time.

But don't leave it - keep on the Dealers back and make sure they fix it - you may have a faulty cassette or toilet mechanism
