Hi Folk, just been on the Murray River this week and stayed at Buronga CP, just over the bridge, (from Mildura) just a touch into NSW...  Fabulous park right on the river, book up early and ask for a river frontage...  Wonderful, love it...   Jay-Jay

Where abouts on the Murray. We tend to go between Mathoura and Tocumwal and there are some great free camping spots along fisherman's bend road there. We just had a week away there last week, was packed with campers but was a great time. The water is nice and high now too.

One place we stayed along the Murray was Corowa. The Rivergum Holiday CP, on the eastern edge of town. It takes dogs and the travellers' sites are down the back of the park, looking onto the reserve that is beside the Murray - is a walking track to the river. From there, we were able to sight see Rutherglen as well as Corowa.

Another great park was Riverside at Swan Hill - again, dog friendly. We had a site with actual frontage to the Murray. Next to the park is a large area of gardens where dog could run off leash.
