Just remembered some other items of interest about this town and wonder if others have noticed:
1... at the top of the door entrance of the cafe you can just make out "licensed to sell poisons" behind the No 17 street number. Hmmm.
2...with a town name like "Texas" is it coincidental that the manhole covers on the footpaths are made in Wabash Indiana.
3...the telegraph pole outside the toilets have what looks like tar exuding from the bark...shiny black and hard....goes all the way to the top. Must be sap resin?
