I'm after advice and orfeedback on the above product. My current Navman, which has provided years of faithful service, is getting past its use by date.
If any of the Nomads have one of the above I would appreciate your thoughts. Also the best place to mount it to take advantage of both its functions.
If you are on the roads stay safe and all have a great Easter.
Thanking you in anticipation
Hurls

I have the new Navman Myvue LM which is the GPS and recorder in one. I looked in JB and it was $299 and $199 in Dick Smiths on special. It saves on power sockets being an all in one. I think it is off special in DS's now though.
I find it a little harder to use than my Garmin drive recorder. I still have both. I have the pre GPS version 5 Megapixel version Garmin and a Nuvi GPS .
I find the Garmin software easier to use and my Garmin GPS also more user friendly. Both have lifetime maps.
In retrospect I prefer the Garmin but if you are used to using the Navman it's an even bet.
I bought one of them, had to go back to Adelaide from Greens lake at Corop Vic to funeral it froze on me , so got the Garmin out all ok Now 4days later the Navman froze again before Murray bridge, got the old Garmin out again. Went into good guys in Shepparton to exchange it . All ok now. About 3weeks ago left greens for couple of weeks to Mount Gambier in sa the same thing happened with new Navman going and coming back so back to the Garmin , like you guys thought it good to have camera and gps. Took it back a got a new Garmin . The guy in shop told me to get the Garmin first time I went in
