HI, I have emphysema and it had been getting progressively worse, quite rapidly. A friend suggested I try Kale as he had had a lot of success with it. I have been steaming it and having it with my evening meal. I juice it with carrots and celery two or three times a week. I also make kale chips. To do this remove all the stems, even the smaller bits. Mix it with some oil, preferably coconut, but any will do. Roast it in a hot oven until it goes crunchy. Put some nice rock salt on it and yum. I have to fight my grandson for it every time I cook it when he is around. Kale is very rich in nutrients and has really helped my health overall. Give it a go, you might be surprised
