you say it has 2 good tires...well that's the main thing. Would make a great project for someone wanting to restore a 'van. Unlimited opportunities to have your own layout etc

haha........I think its beyond the home handymans expertise. But I guess its what they call "starting from the ground up".........
The RAA yard is full of what looks to be just broken down vehicles and some of them in very good order and not that old, but its obviously from the paint fade on the roof, that they've been there a long time. Obviously too expensive to flat top truck them to a Dealer at Alice Springs, Darwin or Port Augusta.
Having said that Coober Peedy is full of old and rolled, smashed up cars slowly rusting away outside people mining holdings. It reminded me of the slums you see in parts of California.
Theres enough scrap metal here for Clive to finish building his new Titanic ship lol
