Hi all,

As some of you might know I do some house sitting from time to time and am currently doing one as we speak. I don't advertise etc, just do them by word of mouth.

I have just been asked to do a house sit in Tamworth May-June/July, sorry I forget if June or July (Uncle Al's fault). The lady sounds very nice and has a cat and low maintenance property to look after and you would be able to stay in the house, she should be able to arrange for a van to be left close by at a friends larger property if need be.

If you are interested can you PM me please and we will take it from there.

Oh well Marj, not everyone is nice and obviously some don't like others trying to help someone out.

The lady only wants someone she feels comfortable with in her house and was put onto me. I am unable to do the sit but offered to "put it out there" and see what happens then let her know.

No problem Marj. I forget a lot of things but not rude people. No big deal anyway Marj.

Doug - cant figure out some people - all those that know you, know youre a genuinely nice guy, so why the need to abuse you when youre offering a service to people.........go shut the gate (haha)....cant figure out some people

Not worth the effort Marj as it was not abuse but was not very nice in a round about way.

Best to just let it go and get on with life I reckon.

I will ring the lady tomorrow and let her know I have been unsuccessful in finding someone. She has checked a couple of sites without success.

There are some weird ones about, Doug. Just as well that messenger did not get the house sit job. Your standing might not have been too flash in the Tamworth area.
