If you want more information, check out the Landcruiser forum (LCOOL). All manners of fuel consumptions are discussed there, also the caravaners forum has a Landcriuser specific area.

Not enough info. What's being towed, where and how? A lead foot will obviously have a higher fuel consumption than a "light" foot and going uphill will consume more fuel than when on the flat or going downhill. Lastly, the physical size of a van bears little resemblance to its actual weight and that will drastically influence the fuel economy.

Perhaps a check is in order before pursuing this further.
