I will keep an eye open for your van Doug - are you going to be in the area for very long? I haven't seen any stickers either Bruce and Bev but then again I am guilty of that also as I don't even have a sticker.

Just spent a few weeks in the area. Berry showgrounds is a good place to stay. $12 single, $24 double, power & water to the van. Maintained grass sites. Clean amenities. Caretaker on site. Short walk to the town shopping.

Currently at Warri reserve, heading who knows where. Good stopover on the shoalhaven river.

Cheers Pete

I did have grey nomad and Happywanderer stickers on my van but they have been taken off due to over self promotion.

Pete, the Berry show grounds are not taking any more CV's etc as the local CVP complained. I was only just checking on that tonight for a Monday night stopover. Will have to find a free camp or similar now.

I will be actually staying around Ulladulla until late April Nelly. Coming through from Vic boarder Tuesday or Wednesday via Hwy 1.

Milton Showground is $19.00 pn, includes, power, water, showers and dump point. Very central, can go north or south in Shoalhaven to explore

I would be very interested to know which cvp complained, as there is not any cvp's in Berry. Most if not all cvp's in the Shoalhaven are actually owned by Shoalhaven Council, and who owns or operates Berry showgrounds?

Sorry all, Uncle Al obviously got out of bed before me today as I am miles away. I was looking into Bega show grounds not Berry. Looks like I will get lost for sure.

Thanks for that Doug - I wasn't confused - well not much anyway Lol!!! I am now at a little place called Nelligen - right on the water - bit expensive though. Tried to get in touch with the Braidwood Showground had no success though. If I come back your way I will be in touch. Have fun housesitting!!!

Milton SG is great, top spot.....if interested you can also camp at Nowra SG and the Shoalhaven Zoo which is right on the river....the Ski Park next door is also available but more expensive..........glad to hear that Berry SG was incorrect as it`s a top spot....plenty of places to camp further down the coast to the border.
