Genoa

just past Mallacoota turnoff on A1 towards Eden. Great Spot here. Plenty of room for large or small vehicles. Flat land and good amenities. Run by townsfolk who just ask for a donation. It is such a great place I gave $10 per night.

We stayed there 20 March for 3 nights (max allowed).  Great spot - good meals at the pub across the footbridge as well.

The old Shire of Orbost Caravan Park, a great spot. Becoming more popular every day as word gets around. Not much ''free camping'' in East Gippsland. Unfortunately not many make a donation & lots overstay the 3 night limit. Packed in Jan/Christmas period.
Pity both servos are closed, no fuel between Cann River VIC & Kiah NSW.

We are spending our second night here in Genoa after spending the day in gypsy point and Mallacoota. This is a great spot for all rigs and seems to get a lot of use. The donations left have helped to improve the amenities in this fabulous low cost stop over. Fuel is available 20ks down the road at Mallacoota .
