Heading off to the South Coast NSW

Hey Nomads,

I'm heading to the South Coast of NSW around Easter and was looking at some camping recommendations.

I've been using VisitNSW.com to find campgrounds, and was thinking of the following areas over a 10 day trip:

1. Jervis Bay

2. Kangaroo Valley

3. Ulladulla

I'm also maybe thinking of going further south to Merimbula and Narooma which look amazing!

If you go to Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley and Ulladulla are just day trips from there. The camp ground at Jervis Bay is good but expensive, particularly at Easter (it may also be booked out at this stage.) This Map is centred on Huskisson - click on the pins for more information.

For Narooma/Merimbula area I can recommend Wallaga Lake. There is a choice of 4 parks there. Map of area.

Nice area, we are just returning from there. We stayed in Ulladulla Holiday Village and Wallaga Lake Holiday Park plus Eden Gateway CP.

Be warned that all these areas will be very busy on the Easter Holidays. If you free-camp, you'll have to get there early before Easter for a spot, if you want a caravan park, phone first. Sites are often booked months ahead for high seasons like Christmas and Easter.
