A Murray tinny trip.

Gday clearly as the topic implies 21 fellas in 13 tinnies have just toured from Tocumwal to Echuca in a week . Fishing and relaxing staying in the pub at Toc 1st and then taking the cars and trailers to the other end ,then hiring a bus for the return trip. Now me being the only local and all the other mob coming from Melb  I said to travel light so you can spend a bit local so to speak .Well they/we did.!! Toc .inc bus and pub and supplies [never inc fuel cause that goes to the city ] was @1200$ . Barmah pub and shop next door was [ incl 21 counter lunches] was $750.Onto Cape Horn Winery for Tues Lunch and cool drinks [21 wood fired pizzas ] and several cases of wine $910 .Thurs into Echuca [yep ! 21 c/lunches ] ice grog and supplies $ 790 . Plus 2 guys hired a boat from Echuca for the week er ,$1750 !. So all in all we did our bit and we do it twice a year for the last 16 years. Cheers Westy

That is magic John and so much money spent in all the little towns along the way. Sure looks hot with them all soaking in the river.

Shut tue front gate!

That sounds and looks a great week had by all John. Great to see the Murray being used for such an important event. Should have made the headlines that week mate.
