Almost home

Isn't it funny! when you've been away for a long or short period and on the return home, the only thing that's on your mind is the next trip. Mine will be a loop around Hill End district in about 2 weeks time.

So I'm almost home and have stopped beside the bay, the view and the perfect breeze is to die for so just a few more hours and I'll tear myself away and get back to the humdrum of normality.

Hi Helen. Great pic!!

We are the same as you!! In our case we sold our house (just got sick of all the maintenance) and bought a van and tow vehicle. Gave some of the money to our kids on the condition we could park our van and live there when it suited us.

We did a 4 mnth trip round our home State, WA, late last year and came back to Perth to our sons house late December. Oh......we just want to get going again (we both must have gypsy blood in us) and leaving in about 2 weeks with the loose plan of heading towards Esperance and then over to Cooba Peedy then either south into SA or over to go to Broken Hill - don't know, don't care yet - decide as we're on the road. Then up along the back roads of VIC and NSW ending up in QLD - that should take care of most of 2015.

A must is Greens Lake though - either on the way up or back down - too far ahead to be bothered planning.

We love our Nomad life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
