I do get about, that is what life on the road is all about. I do like to see what is around the next corner and up the road.

Down the street is good too.

Enjoy Mildura. The RSL have a magnificent meal Sharon.

You might want to check out "Apex Park" too, if you haven't already. Nice CVP there, right where the paddle steamer "Melbourne" turns around.

Thanks Doug, know Mildura well as we lived here for 3 years running a motel about 20 years ago. I will be checking out the Apex park, thought about that this morning after I checked the weather forecast. Was going free camping but at 39 tomorrow I might just wimp out and check into a CP.
I am off today to try and find Psyche Bend free camp area. Last time I was here I tried to find it and gave up as I was not well, but Seedling and I will be out and about today while waiting for Miss Daisy to finish her check up.

Mildura has not changed much really over the past 20 years except for getting so much busier and expanding in all directions. Love the river here and for that alone it deserves 10/10.

Thanks Jade, found it, and once again it is one of those places that others rave about, however I am afraid I did not like it at all. Dry, dusty, gum trees everywhere, not a place I would camp at.

I have however wimped it out for this weekend and booked into the Apex park. Beautiful spot. Nicely grassed sites, close to the river, quiet this weekend, and the A/C will be going flat chat.

Wirraway Motorhomes have once again done a great job. All little maintainence jobs done in good time, plus a few little extra bits and bobs. Great people to deal with. Will stay the weekend and then make my way south again.
