I only ask cause I hope to be there in just over a week and want to be prepared. We have had an upsurge here at the moment with the warmer weather. Cheers

I had three nights there about five weeks ago it was very warm and we didn't have any trouble with the mozzies, infact i don't think there was any, that was then ,we were only about forteen steps from the waters edge.

I didn't experience any at Greens Tropicalrose. But did at Girgarre. Was bitten badly at Girgarre.
I use Rosemary And Cedarwood cream. Get it from any camping store.
Unfortunately didn't have any on at Girgarre as was going for a shower.

I hate to be the odd one out but I spose I am odd. There are mozzies around but if you use mozzie "stuff" or maybe burn a mozzie coil they are no problem. I set two mozzie coils off at 4.00pm each day and they keep the little blood suckers away. I am just to the right of the ramp if you want to say hi.

C1, apart from the odd camp fire at night and mozzie coils, there is nothing else burning here at Greens, well near me anyway.

How much longer will you be there Doug?  We will be looking in there in 3 - 4 weeks time.  Maybe stay a week or so.

Thats cool, maybe next trip.  We will be working our way to Batemans Bay NSW, aiming to be there by mid April then we turn for home again.

North, um, oh yes thats easy.  Point 12 o'clock position on your watch to the sun, then midway between the hour hand and 12 is north.

Old Boy Scout trick.  Only works during the day biggrin & best on a clear day.
