Off to Tweed Heads first trip

Hi all,

We just picked up our Sunliner Holiday 57 and are looking to take it on our first outing. We are going to do short trip from Coolum down to Tweed heads for a 4day wknd. Can you tell us the best places to stay. Also any ideas on how I get the TV to work.smile

Welcome to the gang KEEGS enjoy here and out in the playground.

TV? Try turning it on mate biggrinbiggrin Sorry, could resist that. Make sure you point the antenna in the right direction and tune in to that area. You must retune in each area you stay. I'm sure you know that though.

Enjoy the coast and keep safe.

welcome to this great life style and the Grey Nomads.

Suggest you spend the $8 for a years subscription to Wikicamps which has 1000's of free, low cost sites and caravan parks (CPs) through the country. You can also buy the very latest edition of Camps 8 in most news agencies.

There are also plenty of various sites listed on this site - have a look at the home page for them - listed by State

May be a good idea to leave it for a week.  Just saw the weather forecast and 300 ml (12 inches) rain for Sunshine Coast and nearly as much right down the coast.  Would find any leaks in the new van though.

The Car Park opposite the Tweed Heads Bowls Club is always a popular place. A little noisy sometimes . But very safe . I live nearby and it is not a problem as long as you leave no trace and the way you found it. This will help future travellers. Good luck with New M/Home Keegs.
