Qld: Cairns - Fishery Falls Holiday Park

A large and very attractive park with spacious sites divided by tropical plantings for privacy. Beautifully maintained tropical gardens and lawns. Pool and good facilities, all very clean. Located about 45 kms south of Cairns at Fishery Falls on the Bruce highway. There's a small pub that serves meals on the highway at the end of the driveway. The park is set back so road noise is not an issue. Run by Diane and 'Skin', very friendly couple. This is easily the most attractive park we have stayed at in Queensland. We paid $32 for a powered site.  I didn't notice any kids play equipment but there's room for kids to run around. There's a large area for tents too, quite separate to the van sites. The falls are close by. We will stay there again for sure. A very good find. Phone 07-40675283

I agree. I spent a couple of nights there in a cabin going to and from the Daintree a few years ago. They let me have the dogs as long as they slept in the car and kept on a leash. Very nice surroundings.
