Ron. Can you remember where you bought it - go back to them and find out who the Aust dealer was and then look up their name on google.

Maybe a long shot, but try googling the "XG ........ generator and see what happens. You may at least be able to get an on-line manual with fault checking there

Lastly, if no-ne else here can help you, go to a generator dealer/repairer - they may help you out

Lastly, if its getting a but old, other parts will also be on the way out and maybe you need to bite the bullet and replace it. A new Honda 2.0 is $1699 delivered to your door if you buy on-line

The screen is not that important on the generator. Its just extras as most don't have one anyway. The important bit is does it still generate power. It may be just a wire fallen off.

Hi

I bought a 4.4 kva fuji generator and the front panel failed after six months use and they sent me a new panel but that would not work also they then sent a truck to pick it up and after testing it they delivered a new generator and it has been perfect for five years so far check for parts with mytopia on eBay
