Great Australian Bight in the background. I will be seeing the Bight again soon as I am leaving from Brisbane (Redland Bay) to Perth in a few weeks. I am trying to make it an annual trip to visit my Mum (84) in Perth. She looks forward to it and I certainly get excited about travelling across. Surely I will see some of you on the road. (free camping all the way and loving it) Cheers

Hi, thanks for kind words. I am departing on 2 March. This time heading out via Goondiwindi, Moree, Walgett Collarenebri etc to Nyngan and continuing on. Really looking forward to this trip. Taking my swag this time instead of my little tent. Woo-hoo :)
Hello fellow Ulyssian.
A great way to go.
We sold our trike to get us in the 'van & on the road full time.
Every now and then we work out ways to carry something "fun" with us.
70s era Jap 2 stroke strapped on the 'van somehow. One day.
Enjoy it out there. If you see a Viscount 'van with the "Old Man" logo on the back, say "G'Day".
Also a fellow ulyssian Off to Wodonga in a few weeks with my rig. Harley on the ute and the van towed behind Though I have replaced the Mazda with a foton tunland 4WD
Many happy days on our touring bike too before we hit the road permanently. Would have loved to do the Nullarbour on it, did it instead with tug and tow. Have fun
