My wife and I, along with nine other motor homes stayed at the dam camp ground for two nights last year.
We were on a safari through the Bathurst district and camped at some wonderful places in the area.

G/day Frank; yes there is a wind farm close by. We had a couple of nights there a 3-4 yrs back, no wind at the time but it was raining.

Thanks JC
I was thinking if there is a wind farm it must get windy most of the time or it would not work

We had rain and wind last week, but since Friday it has been lovely - few boats come out, skiers, biscuits - have fun. There are a few fishing boats come as well. The water level is down to about 30%, so the surface area is a lot smaller than usual.

Really nice spot, the wind farm is opposite the campground, you can drive over the dam wall, and get right up close to them.

Thanks all - easy to take good pics of nice places Colleen, we could stay a lot longer, but have to move on this week sometime, hope you enjoying yourself, and have good weather.

Dennis and Yvonne - this is definitely a destination - a great spot, not as noisy or crowded as Greens, and only 10k from the town of Blayney. See you on the road.
