Have just spent a few days at this great "free camp". Maximum stay is 7 days, has toilets, no showers or water, stunning beaches and plenty of fishing. It is situated off Cosy Corner Road off the Lower Denmark Road about 30 kms west of Albany.
Cosy Corner North is excellent - two areas to camp, up top, or down closer to the water, quite a few low trees, and not a huge amount of room - have a look before you drive in. The beach is fantastic.

We have had several family camps at Cosy Corner over the years. This year there is the new set of drop toilets. Now 3 drop toilets whereas there was only one up till this.
I noticed the Council has put a 7 day stay on the Notice Board and also advised of a proposal to start charging $10 per night per site in July. The council also empties the bins 2 or 3 times a week (in the busy periods) - so I am to recommend this for a great place to stay while visiting all the tourist places to see in both Albany and Denmark!
Dropped in there yesterday, hoping to stay for a few nights. There is a daily charge there now by the way. Despite arriving early (around noon) there was already a sign up saying 'no vacancies". Looks like a great place to stay but my advice is to get there early as there aren't that many sites and apparently its very popular. There is even a dump point there.
