Been to our Inverloch??

Not a bad place to live while we wait for the cold weather!!  Wish I could say that the CP's are cheap but they're not.  RACV Resort is a beautiful place to park the van and that is located just out of town on the Cape Patterson Road.  Probably the pick of the van parks is the Inverloch Foreshore Camping Reserve but that is still $38 off peak for two people per night, and a whacking $65 peak season.  Very pleasant place to stay off season though. Cheers, Bob

Thanks Ken. It really is a special place. Inverloch has about 4000 population but that swells to probably 40,000 in the peak season. Lots of holiday homes here, which makes it very quiet in the off season. We tend to get as many of the grand kids here while we are home, then really enjoy our long trips away as well. PS. We have 18 Grand kids between us, and one Great grand daughter! WE ARE NOT THAT OLD!!!

Great photos, should be used in a tourism brochure.

Hi John & Lorraine, Thanks for your comments. It is a nice place. That said, we are "champing at the bit" to get away in a month or so. Another big trip planned. Been setting up the BT50 and van for a lot more off road travels.
And, thank you Ken (kesa32) for your reply. I used to go to a farm at Dollar in the hills to the north of here every holidays for years when I was a kid. I have a soft spot for the area. Maybe time for you to have another visit??
Cheers,
Bob & Pauline

Hi you mentioned the RACV holiday park at Inverloch, well we booked 4 nights next month, good price too ... same as you. We were looking forward to the park and all the amenities, however a couple of days AFTER I booked the park informed me that the pool and other things will be in "maintenance" mode and will not be available.

NOT HAPPY "JAN"

So I asked for my money back .... still waiting

You could have had a swim in our pool, smilesmile,  although, it too is about to be put into "winter mode"..

Sorry to hear about the RACV Resort, but the Foreshore camp is pretty good.  Cheers,

Bob
