I was wondering if any of us have recently purchased either a new or close to new van recently and were able to obtain much of a saving. I presume if the van is on the lot and been there some time then the dealer would want to move it given the floor plan finance but what sort of mark down can one expect on a new van. As well, when one is approaching a dealer regarding a second hand van, how much can one realistically expect to be knocked off the price if there is no trade in and it is a cash purchase.
Previous experience has shown me that purchasing in Victoria is much cheaper than NSW or Qld as there is less transportation costs, but about how much would one expect to save.
Look forward to your answers, I hope I get plenty. Love the forum.
Maybe a little more info on what type of van, size, weight, Family, etc As there are some great deals out there in Vic, and Not always from the Dealers, ?
Haven't bought a new van but I am told that Halls Caravans in Mildura was better price than at the Brisbaine caravan show two years ago may be worth a phone call
