Fire Extinguisher replacement

If your van, mobile home etc has a fire extinguisher and it is getting towards 10 yrs old or older it needs to be replaced, I was walking through Aldi yesterday and noticed that they had 1kg powder type A,B &E for sale at $19.99 which is a reasonable price.

Should your extinguisher by less than 10 years old it still needs annual maintenance which can be done by giving it a few good hits with a mallet or piece of wood ensuring the powder inside is not in a solid lump you should be able to move the powder when giving it a shake.

For $20 its a good investment and doesn't hurt to have more than one..
