Hi all, I have a 2007 AVan with a large skylight where the flyscreen section has torn. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or alternatively know how to remove the old broken one and replace. It is not the concertina type mentioned in other posts I found I the techie forum. I have (hopefully) attached photo.

Maybe contact your nearest Dometic agent to see if they can help out .
I have a five week old Van with the same type of hatches and windows and one window shade doesn't like staying up and one is coming out of the track along the sides. I can see leaving them in the fly screen position and fitting a holland roll up blind for privacy happening in the future. I also know someone with a more expensive van that is having the same problems.

Have you tried 'classic caravans & trailers' at heatherbrae, NSW. PH 0249876922 , its in the back blocks of the industrial estate at heatherbrae (there's room to turn big vans around so you can call in on the way past). They seem to have all the bits and pieces that no one else keeps for our older style vans. Regards neville
Doug. We have the same kind of blind/fly screen arrangement - pretty well standard in 'van nowdays and all made by the same manufacturer. Two 'van repairers say theyre hopeless because the blind or mesh get caught in a felt strip that runs horizontally at top and bottom (hidden inside the frame).
Both these guys said they usually will wear in with use, both close one before using he other, ie, don't keep them clipped together and try to change from "day to night".
Our Dealer is replacing one unit as the fly netting doesn't close properly, but one of their guys did a repair job on it and it now works better than all of the others.
Our van is now 4 mnths old and the blinds are getting easier to use (we use them every day)

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. If only I knew how to get the hatch out of the roof I may be able to replace the flywire myself - or get a part sent to me and replace it. Van is up for sale at the moment and the sagging flyscreen looks horrible.
