Plenty on here to talk - re your 'handle' - meetoo.....a mate of mine was successful in business and bought a new BMW, his wife was jealous of it so bought one herself and had personalised numberplates which said "MEETOO".
Marriage didn't last as both were too driven for success but ignored what was under their noses.
So there you go.

I don't actually have a story behind my meetoo, but with a handle like that I am sure I could invent a few stories about it biggrin

hi meetoo, hope you are ok. being on your own is not a good situation for you but one a lot of us will one day have to face too. so stay on here and have a chat. there are lots of us here so hang in there. We had a great day. we are on a farm. fed the chooks, talked to the cow, went down to the creek, read a book, swatted a few flies, had a wine, strop had a beer. life is good. cheers. ghjghj 006.JPG

Hello Metoo Yesterday you said you felt like a chat. Well I will tell you a couple of things about me.

I live on the Sunshine Coast, South East Queensland. For the next 4 days they are forecasting storms, some are supposed to be severe, Now there a number of people around who are ****ting themselves because a ripper went through Brissy the other day and caused a fair amount of damage.

We get severe storms all the time but mostly they are out in rural areas and city people don't give a **** about how many trees are uprooted or crops damaged or of farmers lively hoods that are compromised.

Sorry got on my Hobby horse there Metoo. Just been in SES a long time and have observed the behaviour of storms over a long period of time. They need to be respected - really respected but not feared. And don't get me started on being prepared for any eventuality instead of winging because they are too lazy to clean out their gutters and expect SES to waste valuable time cleaning up there mess. OOOOOPPPSS That turned into a rant.

Anyway with a bit of luck we will get 20 or 30 mils over the period which will green up the grass which will then have to be mowed - think it is time to get that van on the road again.

Hi Rocket, Was to be 28th wedding anniversary today. Just missed out on it. I ended up at the pub. There was a great rock band playing with a superb sound setup, great songs and great frontman,hmm make that front lady.

Great cover band with many of the songs sounding just like the originals. Funny sort of night. no one seemed to be too friendly, then the last hour, everyone wanted to talk.

I had a chuckle at talked to the cow.

Hope you get the rain without the big storms.

Well the day wasn't good at all today I'm sorry to say. But, after 3 hours in this pub tonight, it all livened up with a great band, which is why I went.

People started to talk and it ended up nice to be there with people around. So glad I went in the end. Now I am back at macca's using there wifi.

I will stay up some more for a bit to get real tired to make sure I sleep tonight.
