water tanks


hi everyone, I have a question. to run mains water into the caravan, do the caravan water tanks need to be full? thanks. rocket n strop

Quick reply.... No. they should be separate systems. Lots of our friends leave their tanks nearly empty while towing and leave them that way if they are staying in CPs. We bush camp a lot so keep ours full. Have fun. Brownie.

If you're storing your caravan for an extended period, it always pays to empty the water tanks. Simple fill with fresh water before you take to the road and you're right to go.
