One of our daughters will be having a tight Xmas as a single Mum - she warned 6 y.o. Belle not to expect many pressies this Xmas as she didn't have much money - Belle replied 'don't worry Mummy, Santa always brings us lots'.

sounds like my kids. When they were little and wanted me to buy something I said I didn't have any money - they're reply was "well just write out a cheque"
