Yea the pole monkey is breaking some rules..
Nearly all of them..
I bet he doesn't have safety box at the bottom of pole ?
Otherwise called the death box.. Rope, harness and knife to lower a body off pole..
Mandatory here in Aust..

Yipes, the pole monkey forgets its only 11,000 volts or even 33,000.. no worries.

The guy in the puddle, he badly needs an RCD or two. OR a brain cell.

When I was training apprentices we had a situation where an RDC would be blown every time a certain group came in for training. I decided to come in early one morning to find this kid with a suicide lead (sparkies will know what that is) and him touching active (thus blowing the RCD).

After I dressed him down, suspended him and asked him why he did such a stupid thing he told me it woke him up in the mornings. Obviously an apprentice to one of our friends above. He didnt like the taste of coffee.

BTW I was duty bound to report him to his boss, the NAC and the OTR, he was fired within a week.

Yipes again..

A former boss told me of a sparkie in the navy who very quickly located an open fuse in a large bank of fuses by extending two fingers in a victory salute and running them along the entire bank until he got a belt from the culprit.

Going by insulators and mains (X's4) it'll be 415v, low voltage..
