I have been considering getting one for a while but waiting for price to come down, probably time to reconsider.
Saw some footage on TV the other night that proves their value especially if you are involved in an accident.

Yes I have one in the camper, bought it at Harvey Norman , with a 32 Gb card it will record for 4 hours and then continue to over right the current file . Cost me about $75 or so . comes on with the ignition and also if the vehicle gets a bump, Hd recording .
If you are looking for one, I would consider one with a Gps. This gives realtime speed, location, and a number of other advantages over the ones without.
