We are getting solar on the house on Friday , the salesman said they are all made in china now anyway. Different manufacturers and probably different quality but still made in china . The system I have chosen are Poly crystalline 200W panels with inbuilt inverter . Seems that Poly crystalline is not subject to shading like Mono Crystalline panels and therefore charge in partial shady conditions . I don't know if you are supposed to mix the panels but I have one of each on the camper by mistake but they still work ok.

I work for a solar company and a lot are made in China. The good quality ones come out of Italy and Germany.  It is important to understand how they whole systems work.

They are great and we have 2 Kyocera panels on our van , and 1 standfree as our caravan is 99% 12 volt.

Happy camping
