BATEMANS BAY CV SHOW

Well, C1, C2 and myself just got back from said show a little disappointed. If you wanted to but a CV, all good but as far as the smaller toys go not as good as previous years I have been.

I went to check out a few toys but came away with nothing to do with CV's. I did get a pulsator device for the pain at the back of my ankle, seems good too. Pocket sized and runs on two AA batteries.

Now, just quietly, C2 decided to do a poll while there, while sitting near the mens toot (don't ask why) smile she noticed the hand basins just inside the door in view of the outside world. The poll, well, she counted the number of men that didn't was their hands and those that did on their way out. Disgusted she was, the number that didn't out numbers the did's by heaps.

One thing noticed was most exhibitors did so a comment was made she would buy from them if needed.

Maybe those who don't wash their hands also don't use their hands. Maybe they just stand there with hands on hips, and then do the hippy hippy shake before leaving. I'll have to be more observant next time I use a public loo.

That BB Show has been very expensive for us in the past!. You are lucky you escaped with only an ankle pulsator(?)

Yep, C2 is onto something, just don't shake hands with any blokes in BB now!

I once had an employee who said this on the subject, "I don't wash my hands after I do a No 1 because I always wash them 1st"...his reasoning was that his "body" was clean as he always showered each morning and therefore, clean to begin with, it was his exposed body parts, PARTICULARLY his hands that got dirty and contaminated by touching anything, which is then transferred to the area in question!!! confuse

His logic actually makes good common sense, even so, I haven't followed his example...nevertheless, his logic rings very true When you think about it.

....you're more likely to get leprosy or something similar by actually touching the grubby taps....not to mention the dryers...I also draw the line at helping anyone if their phone rings, whilst at the urinal...!.....I also never touch a door going out with my hands always the back of my hand to push open....my wife always carries bacterial wipes and I use them after exiting...perhaps they also have caring wives?.........

I had a month in Jakarta not long ago, I learnt to touch nothing that wasn't attached to me.. 20 million PLUS people in one city with little sewerage....waterfront/canal property's there are the least sought after....lol.........and yes leprosy tragically is still present in Indonesia......
What was the percentage of seniors who forgot to zip..that would be interesting....if you're like me you check about every five minutes....having been caught in all my splendour more than once....however it is only a little thing I raise...Hoo Roo
