A rock called Pildappa

I am very much into nature and breathtaking scenery. This lump of granite is unreal.

Situated on a dirt road about 15 clicks north west of Minnipa on the Eyre Highway.

It is the same form as wave rock on WA. A magnificent act of nature and a few million years of erosion by wind and rain.

We camped under the western wave, at sunset it turned into an orange and pink burst of colour.

Look for it next time you are out that way, drop loo, a little water (we didnt touch it) reasonably easy access except for the last 100 meters, and the usual bulldust etc, lots of dry shade trees, a few shelters and reasonable free camping.

We met some other GNs there and had a ball.

Pay a donation, its well worth it.

Safe travels, dont do dumb stuff.
