Posting in the RIGHT forum

I am getting concerned about all the NON-travel advice and tips that are now being posted in the general forum.

The Grey Nomads - General Forum (3 viewing)

A friendly forum where you can seek advice, exchange tips and share experiences about the grey nomad lifestyle

I would have thought that many of the subjects have nothing to do with travel and should therefore be in 'I Digress'.confuse

I enjoy the forum but also get frustrated especially when there are so many posts that have Youtube links that have nothing to do with General (travel tips and advice!).

Actually - I wish sometimes that there was something to show that the post is just a link to Youtube so I wont bother opening it - chews up my prepaid allowance watching them. no

Of course - I should have posted this in the right place......and will biggrin

It's all in the interpretation of the forum headings. It is a forum and if it was 100% perfect I personally would not be in any way interested. Human nature. I find threads that digress can be more interesting that those that follow the straight and narrow.
Spida - with due respect and showing my ignorance I must say that I don't know if the thrust of this thread is fair dinkum or is it dig at the rules or similar. X2
Regards

Things seem to remain pretty orderly here most of the time, I don't have a problem.smile

I gave up long ago, reminding people that there are threads for specific subjects.  Otherwise we'd only have the General thread.  Someone was asking about "Numbering Posts" recently.  If posts are put in appropriate threads, numbering is not necessary.

Cheers,

Sheba.

There is, it is the Preview button.  If you don't like what you see don't open the thread.!  Simple really.
