A usual someone has to gripe about something foriegn to the question don,t they ! however I am saddened to see this sort of thing as I percieve that our politicians should know better .Frankly if it is true , she should bugger off cause I am kinda tired of some folk being given shall we say "jobs for the boys ".

Kill the messenger? Tar and feather the whistleblower?
I don't pay taxes on everything to have the money wasted frivolously or rorted. I would very annoyed if public money that could have gone to more useful purposes has been diverted for other, private purposes.
Since when wasn't the safe custody, correct expenditure and accounting, and auditing of public money a damned serious business?
Who are these people that keep bobbing up either in government, or swinging from the government's teats, who think they can take the Australian public for a ride? If the allegations have any truth that is and without prejudging, it would be a very foolish editor who hadn't obtained legal opinion on the evidence prior.
The government - both sides of government - is persistent and single-minded where an age pensioner or student is accused of even a minor infringement and the penalties are always severe. What about politicians and other hangers-on?
