Letting the imagination stretch a bit, could you visualize travellers caravanning around Australia completely naked? What a sight that would be, even if the pursuit was clothing optional.
This bloke is not caravanning but hiking in the nude, see;
Yes, I think I would prefer to cover up too, don't wan't to scare people,
I think there are a number of nudist places for caravanners around Oz, this is one of them just off the Great Eastern Highway at Hovea between Mundaring and Perth. There rates at $25 a night seem reasonable powered or unpowered as long as you don't mind being "on display" he he!
One of our respected GN members now deceased, Magic Bob, had the contract for repairing their electric gate, he told me that he was repairing the control box on the gate and was sitting on a stool he kept with him to save his back, when he heard one of the committee members talking to him, he turned his head to see a male private part right in front of is nose, complete with ring jewellery....
When camping out bush with the camper trailer, we have been known to set up the gas shower hanging from a tree branch and not bother with the shower tent. Doesn't seem to bother the local wildlife too much though.

Hmmmm........In my solo travelling days I would park at bush camps away from other people and facing in a direction that any incoming vehicle lights could get me or I could be seen, when it was dark, slide open the camper door, stand on a mat and have a flannel/bucket wash....worked for me and I felt a lot better afterwards.......started on the face and worked down....

Was browsing through Wikicamps yesterday, and found a nudist caravan park near Beenleigh (QLD) - for those that might be interested - it is called Brobene I think.
Not for this little black duck - don't think the world is ready for me in the nude!!!!

it seems people are approaching the notion of nudity from a strange, perspective... Being nude is not about exhibiting your wrinkly bits, so much as introducing them to the freedom of fresh air and sunshine ... and the pleasure of swimming nude is overwhelming when you try it ... No one is too old to be naked. Nature is beautiful in all its forms.... the only issue I have with nudism is "discretion" ... an intent NOT to offend anyone else ... As you travel you may notice some vans carry the little "Running Bare" sticker -- or the ANF sticker.... this indicates you are a nudist. If nudity offends its simple and easy to avoid it.... just drive away. Its a matter that nudists and Non nudists should consider -- its called "respect" ... we were all born naked, it is only the closed minds of society -- (and the prevailing weather conditions) that dictate that we SHOULD be clothed... That's why the nudist movement in this country and throughout the world is so large...
I must say that very recently I was driving on Broome's Cable Beach, the northern end of which clothes are optional. Gray haired old fat guys should not let it all hang in the breeze. Some sights cannot be unseen! (I happen to fit the description and the world is not ready for that sight yet so I kept mine o
