Hi All, I wonder if users would be interested in a chat feature on this site? When other users are on you would be able to say "hi" and maybe have chat about your travels. Not sure how hard that would be to incorporate within the current design! Maybe someone more IT savvy than me may be able to comment. What do you think ? Cheers Steve
Just my personal opinion Steve, I have never been keen on chat features, I think the current sections on the forum pretty well cover this for hi and chats etc (I digress or whatever), and if it is more personal you have the pm system to contact others.
Don't be put off by my opinion though, others may think differently, would be a hell of a world if we all thought the same.
Chat rooms can be quite expensive, I just cancelled one that cost twice as much as the hosting and website URL per year. It wasn't used for 2 years. That was a professional secure chatroom for 25 people.
The cheaper ones are not secured and can be very labour intensive or contain lots of advertising.
