Revamp in progress...

So I dismantled the L shaped cafe lounge... Wasn't working for me, took up way too much space, pain in the arse moving around the bed, sold the seat cushions and table  leg on eBay.

I'm slowly removing the pelmets and fawn coloured curtains. they were dull... In my opinion...

Here is is a contrast pic.... I've removed the pelmet, and got the red and white happening, against the boring fawn colour.. Sure makes it brighter and lighter and sunblock material.

the L shape lounge is gone... The wheel arch is covered, a tri fold table, I've attached some cane baskets, heaps more storage. And got a recliner chair.

I'll finish the curtains, bedhead etc on the road.

I spent hours, days, weeks and months researching/ looking at new vans. Did the maths and stuck with my original van.

Ive had the van under slung, diesel heater fitted, picnic table.... Soon to be a happy glamper .....

Mary Jane,

You have done a great job. Shekon phoned me to have a look at your reno. We also have the L shape lounge. I have been looking at the Lagun table mounting as I work from the van everyday. We also don't need seating for 5.

We have just pulled the grill out of the van and turned that into a pull out drawer. Rod is building a pull out freezer and we have just replaced our 3 way fridge with a Vitrifridgo all fridge and 12 V.

The next change will be curtains, replacing the old fashion seating and the flooring.

2 years ago since we started on the road, after renovating our house.

All a bit tricky when you living in it but anything is possible.

Love a viewing when all finished and you are doing a great job.

Sue

 Thanks Sue,

lt would be tricky doing reno's while living in it, but well worth it. Just one night and the difference of the extra floor space is brilliant, so much easier. Good idea re the freezer too

could take me a while to finish, and I just hope I have enough material ;) haven't figured how the bed head panel comes off, most things were screwed down but the panel doesn't appear to be.

Mary Jane,

Our bedhead is put on  with staples. Feel around the bed head through the material and their should staples in there. It took me some time to feel them but they were there.

Same with the strip of covered wood over the door.

They love to hide.
