Hopefully someone on the Forum can give you some advice. I would suggest you discuss your problem and your desire to go caravaning with your Doctor...

If you are on Oxygen fw, you can get small C size cylinders to take with you. D size might be good too. There are medical air pumps you can also get for a Nebuliser. Check to see if you can get a small 12v OxygenConcentrator.   A much better way to go.

You might already know about these.

I don't have what you talk about but do know something about it so feel free to PM me.

Hope things work out for you.

I have it and use a puffer morning and night, plus a spiriva cap in a handihaler once a day. I get around okay without any trouble, and sleep like a baby at night. I don't know how chronic my emphysema is but it doesn't stop me doing all the normal things. I'd be out there on the road now if it weren't for my lack of teeth. But that will hopefully be fixed soon. Meantime, I would ask Copper1 and others to stop talking about pizza.

As a fellow sufferer I can say

The emphysema is no prob

But going caravanning can

Cause lifelong addiction so

Be very careful

Hi, good luck and hope you can get out there and enjoy travelling. do not have emphysema but have other chronic problems and I have taken the advice of others on here to go travel. others told me whether you are home or travelling you  still have the problem so you may as well be out there enjoying yourself instead of sitting at home looking at 4 walls. there are doctors, hospitals, chemists, everywhere. so go for it. regards. rocket

As you get older life can get a bit harder but go for it and grab it with both hands

Any day above ground is a good day.
