It looks to me like a good ole friendly carpet snake...but correct me if I,m wrong here.

Apart from the shock of dropping in like that ....they are real good guys...harmless and great to have around the place....can become quite tame with a small amount of encouragement.

We had one in the woolshed as kids...n there were no mice about at all.....and when the mouse plague was on ...it could hardly move....and got quite big physically too.

 Unusual light it is too.  Obviously turned on going by the wall & ceiling illumination but are the "Cool Running" style that don't look like they are on.  Expensive??????  wink
